Paint me a little picture of a place so far away,
Set sail for the island,
Better known better known as Turtle Bay.
What’s that on the horizon saying,
All the waves and the wind and the rain,
We’re setting sail in this stormy weather,
Get away when we reach Turtle Bay,
Missing home, and we’re right back together.
Jewel in the ocean,
Crystal clear,
You shine on through,
Behind a pastel sunset,
I look into the sky,
You know that I could die.
What’s that on the horizon saying,
All the waves and the wind and the rain,
We’re setting sail in this stormy weather,
Get away when we reach Turtle Bay,
Missing home, and we’re right back together.
Behind a pastel sunset,
I look into the sky,
You know that I could die.
All the waves and the wind and the rain,
We’re setting sail in this stormy weather,
Get away when we reach Turtle Bay,
Missing home, and we’re right back together.
All the waves and the wind and the rain,
We’re setting sail in this stormy weather,
Get away when we reach Turtle Bay,
Missing home, and we’re right back together.
I look into the sky,
You know that I could die,
With you.
The backing tracks on this album have seen serious improvement since Hatchie's debut, and the tracks have more variety. I'm not sure if there's been much improvement on the vocals, but overall this is a better (and longer!) showing from this artist. CyanStrawberry

Burbling beneath the hazy beauty of the debut solo record from Lush co-founder Emma Anderson is razor-sharp wit and a heart full of rage. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2023
Eighth Wonder of the World -- the first song I heard from Cathedral Bells. Definitely one of my faves, and it led me to discovering one of my favorite bands of all time. 💙 hadestheblue
